I continue to explore the forest and the quality of light that occurs during seasonal changes. I am also pursuing an on-going curiosity with water; its ability to reflect, distort and illuminate. My sources this year include Forest Park in Portland, Opal Creek Wilderness in the Willamette Valley, and Green Lake Park in Seattle. It is my intent to go beyond illustration and share my feelings about the natural world with the viewer, hoping to strike a chord of recognition.
